These are projects that are run by the Bnai Brith at the Good Hope Centre and the Alexandra Hospital in Maitland. At these events we hand out prizes, obtained from our many sponsors, to mentally challenged people. The monetary value of these prizes is anything up to R20,000.00. Without the generosity of our sponsors, we would not be able to participate in these worthwhile projects.
In October every year we entertain the members of the St. Giles Association for the physically challenged. The Club has been involved with this project since 1997. We provide morning tea and lunch for all who attend.
The Club has three wheelchairs out on loan, at no cost, in the community.
