The club earns the bulk of their income from a monthly 2nd hand book sale at the Park and Shop Shopping Centre in Meadowridge. The books are donated by the public.
The Light a Light for Sight Campaign has been run in December every year at the Meadowridge Service Station since 2002.. During this period members of the public are asked to sponsor a light on our tree for R10. All proceeds raised have been donated to the District 410A Cataract Surgery Project. From 2002 to 2008, with the generous donations from the public, we have donated in excess of R90,000.00 to this worthy project.
The Club sell Christmas cakes every year. In 2008 we sold 110 cases.
We run the Tea Garden at the Flower Show held in Constantia on the last weekend of March every year..
